Well, you can run affiliate campaigns without a website by leveraging platforms like Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, etc.

Still, this affiliate marketing strategy has several disadvantages, including;

  • You don't own the platform
  • You can get your account banned these days very easily
  • You'll be flying below search engines' radar
  • You can get a lot of negative feedback, which can be overwhelming

An affiliate website, on the other hand;

  • Your site is an asset that you own
  • It can help you establish authority better
  • Allows scalability
  • It makes it easier to draw affiliate partners, among other benefits.

And, starting a website isn't expensive. You can buy a domain name for as little as $2 on Namecheap and host the site for a cheap $2.99 per month on SiteGround.
